Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are analyzing an ice chunk that fell through a man’s roof during storms last week.
The man reported the 12-pound ice chunk came through his roof in Elk Mound, leaving behind a hole that barely missed his bed. Environmentalist Jim Boulter says it could be a megacryometeor, which are rare, but sightings have been increasing in the last 50 years.
