Here in Wisconsin, the Dairyland is getting hot. But we aren’t alone!
The Big Apple is baking.
A heat wave is ushering in summer a little early and it has already set records around the region. Yesterday was the first day the temperature in New York’s Central Park reached 90 degrees. LaGuardia Airport hit a record high of 94. Nassau and Suffolk Counties had an air-quality alert — with elevated pollution levels — until late last night.
Today will be cooler and tonight, temperatures should dip into the mid-60s but Con Ed officials are urging residents to conserve energy the next few days until temperatures moderate.
