Eau Claire residents are HOOKED on fishing and are taking advantage of National Fishing and Boating Week.
The annual Take a Kid Fishing Day was held yesterday at lakes in the area. The first 50 kids arriving at the event got free fishing poles and other door prizes. The kid-friendly event was free and open to the public. And you can TACKLE the waters for another week, National Fishing and Boating Week runs through June 10th.
