Governor-elect Tony Evers says he is concerned about a Bloomberg report regarding Foxconn’s intention to eliminate staff and cut costs. Bloomberg says the company wants to cut nearly three-billion-dollars in expenses and eliminate ten-percent of non- technical staff.
Foxconn officials say it was a very difficult and competitive year. Evers tells WKOW-TV that he understands businesses have to make tough decisions, but it’s concerning to him that even before things get rolling in Wisconsin, they seem to be cutting back in other places.
