The average cost for regular gas is down a penny-a-gallon statewide compared to a week ago.
Heading into the holiday weekend Triple-A says the price at the pump in Wisconsin is and two-91 in Racinetwo-dollars-and-86-cents a gallon today. That’s 18 cents below the national average of three-oh-four. Drivers in the Capitol and Janesville are paying 2.81 a gallon today while gas averages two-86 in Wausau, two-90 in Milwaukee and 2.73 in Fond du Lac.
