Nurses out of work due to their refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine seek a settlement to avoid legal action.
Attorney Michael Anderson filed a five-hundred-thousand dollar notice of claim Friday against Rock County. The notice requires a response from the county within the next 120-days. Anderson represents around two-dozen or so nurses and health care staffers at the Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville. He says the FDA has only issued an emergency use authorization for the three companies’ vaccine versions. He says it isn’t legally binding to oblige a person to get a yet unproven vaccine.
