Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers says high speed internet is coming to the Chippewa Valley.
The governor stopped in Eau Claire yesterday as part of his statewide budget tour. The governor said high speed internet is one of his priorities, and likely one of the places where the state will spend part of its two-and-a-half- billion-dollars in federal stimulus money. The governor didn’t say just when folks in the valley can expect an internet upgrade, though planners say it will likely be several years.
