The ACLU in Wisconsin is lining-up against the state’s latest police reforms.
The group yesterday criticized the four plans passed by the state Senate on Tuesday. The ACLU’s Tomás Clasen says one reform gives police officers too much say over who decides discipline against other officers, while another sends more money to police departments across the state. The ACLU says lawmakers should instead ‘shift’ resources away from police departments and into communities of color across the state.
