A new report gives Wisconsin some good marks for conservative tax policies.
The latest Rich States, Poor States report from the American Legislative Exchange Council ranks Wisconsin 15th in the nation. That is far better than Minnesota and Illinois, which come-in at 46 and 47 respectively. The report gives Wisconsin high marks for its low minimum wage and its Right to Work law. But the report dings the state for its high property and progressive income tax policies. Utah is the top state according to the report, New York is the worst.
