The Department of Natural Resources says harvest numbers are up in the first week of gun, deer hunting season. The DNR said today 13-thousand deer were bagged opening weekend this year over last. Barron, Dunn, Polk, Shawano, Grant, Vernon,Sauk and Waupaca counties posted the highest numbers in the state.
