The state of Wisconsin is cutting its coronavirus vaccine order by 90-percent this week.
The state’s Department of Health Services was scheduled to get over 162-thousand doses this week. Now, DHS says it needs just over 13-thousand. The massive drop in doses-ordered is a reflection of just how few people are getting the vaccine across the state. Doses last week fell to their lowest point since January. Rules continue to change around the state. Another Wisconsin school is letting kids take off their masks.
School leaders in Colby last week said kids from kindergarten up to the fifth grade can stop wearing masks if mom and dad say it’s okay. Kids in junior high and high school don’t need a parent’s permission to ditch their masks.
