Just a day after conceding his attorney general’s race to his Democratic challenger, Brad Schimel is being named to serve as a Waukesha County Circuit Court judge. Governor Scott Walker announced the appointment today. Schimel will replace Judge Patrick Haughney, who is retiring.
Republican State Attorney General Brad Schimel is finally conceding his re-election bid to Democratic challenger Josh Kaul. The A-G position is decided only by about 17-thousand votes but Schimel said yesterday that he’s not pursuing are count. Schimel added that he believes the odds of him winning are too narrow to put state staff through a recount.
