Both Trinity Lutheran Church and Hope Gospel Mission are hosting Thanksgiving dinners this week. Organizers at Trinity Lutheran expect to feed around 500 people Thursday and will also have kids activities, youth tying fleece blankets, and a TV to watch football.
They are accepting donations to support their Hunger Ministries. Local suppliers donated the food for Hope Gospel Mission’s dinner Thursday and organizers expect to feed about 300 people. More than 100 volunteers work to make the event possible.
