The Consumer Product Safety Commission is issuing an “urgent warning” for Peloton’s Tread-Plus users to stop using the machine after the death of a child.
The agency issued a release Saturday that they have become aware of almost 40 accidents involving the treadmill, including “multiple reports of children becoming entrapped, pinned, and pulled under” the device. The warning says the Tread-Plus should be kept away from kids under 16 and pets “at all times.”
