Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin won’t testify during his trial. He invoked his Fifth Amendment right as court began today.
He’s accused of killing George Floyd last year. Chauvin told the judge it was his decision to not take the stand in his own defense. The judge then acknowledged that he believed Chauvin made his own decision not to testify.
