We know who, but we still don’t know the why of a weekend shooting in Rusk County that left a man dead.
The sheriff’s office yesterday identified the person of interest in the case as 59-year-old Scott O’Brien. He’s the father of 36-year-old Jesse O’Brien, who died in a shooting in Sheldon on Friday. Investigators are not commenting on a motive, as they say the investigation is still on-going. Prosecutors have not filed charges in the case.
