Eau Claire’s city-county health director says they have hundreds of doses of the coronavirus vaccine to give, starting today.
Health director Lieske Giese says the mass vaccine clinic at UW-Eau Claire’s Zorn Arena opens today. It is open tomorrow and Saturday as well. Anyone 16 and up is welcome to get a vaccine, although it’s important to note that certain vaccines are authorized for 18+ only and health care professionals can assist you in that decision.
In addition to the city-county health department, Giese says teams from FEMA and the Wisconsin National Guard will be on hand to help.
