Two of Wisconsin’s Republican congressmen don’t want to see the state’s former public health boss join the Biden Administration.
Northwoods Congressman Tom Tiffany and southeast Wisconsin Congressman Scott Fitzgerald yesterday urged the U.S. Senate to vote against Andrea Palm’s nomination to the federal Department of Health and Human Services. Palm led the state’s health services department during most of the state’s coronavirus outbreak, and the congressmen said she did a horrible job. They said in a letter to the Senate that Palm’s high-point in Wisconsin was the day that she resigned.
