The risk of wildfires is high around Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources yesterday said in all the state only Vilas County is listed as having a moderate fire risk. The other 71 counties in Wisconsin are either on a high alert or very high alert for wildfires this weekend. The DNR says conditions are ripe for wildfires with the Spring warm up, low humidity and high winds now present around Wisconsin.
