The two top women on the Eau Claire County Fair Board are walking away in frustration.
Both Chairwoman Lisa Vetsch and Vice Chair Letecia Papke quit the board during a heated meeting last night. The two said other board members were questioning a lack of work, despite their hours of work in planning for this year’s fair. In the end, the fair board agreed to move ahead with a county fair this year. The hope is to have it sometime in July.
