The Center for Black Excellence and Culture project in Madison moves forward.
Organizers say the effort now has the participation of the prestigious Lord Cultural Resources for Business Planning. The group was instrumental in setting up the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of African American History in Washington, D.C. The new center in Madison is intended to celebrate Black culture and history.
