Some Altoona residents aren’t in favor of a new housing development in the works.
The city plan commission held a public meeting last night to discuss proposed townhomes near Lake Road and Moonlight Bay Drive that will create 36-new properties for single-families. Some residents want the city to consider taking down the number of homes to 24, so there’s less risk for safety and traffic hazards. The city is planning to move forward with its plan. A preliminary vote is set for tonight.
