On Thursday, Febuary 11th around 11:55 PM the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a one vehicle accident on STH 37 near CTH D in the Town of Gilmanton.
The caller reported that there were three occupants in the vehicle and muliple people were injured. Based on the initial investigation, the driver, 20 year old Ashley-Ann Jailite was traveling southbound on State Highway 37 when her vehicle hit a icy spot in the road she she lost control.
The vehicle, a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, crossed the centerline and struck a guardrail and came to rest in the roadway. All three parties were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire with minor injuries. Speed and road conditions are believed to be a factor of the accident.
