Dairymen in Wisconsin want lawmakers in the state to declare that milk is milk.
The state’s Dairy Business Association yesterday released its priorities for the 2021 legislative session. Environmental regulations are at the top of the list. DBA President Amy Penterman says there needs to be a balance. But the group also wants a truth in labeling law. The dairymen want to be clear between milk, ice cream, and cheese that come from cows or goats and things that are called milk, ice cream, and cheese that come from plants.
