The Wisconsin National Guard Cyber Security team will be available if necessary to help secure the upcoming mid-term elections.
Governor Scott Walker issued an executive order allowing the security team to assist the Wisconsin Elections Commission if asked. The governor says the preservation of democracy through a fair electoral process is a fundamental part of the American system and it’s a founding principle of the constitution that the power to govern resides in the people.
