NBC News exit polls show that a majority of voters in Georgia’s runoff election believe the 2020 presidential election was conducted fairly. NBC’s Steve Kornacki.
The poll was split along party lines with 93-percent of Democrats agreeing that the presidential election was fair, while only 21-percent of Republicans agreed. When asked about their confidence in the runoff results, 73-percent of voters said they were confident that the votes would be counted accurately. More than a quarter of voters said they were not confident in the count.
Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler are facing off against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to decide which party takes control of the Senate.
