The gray wolf is no longer on a federal list of endangered species.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will allow hunters an official wolf season in 2021 beginning November 6th. The department says it is illegal to kill a wolf outside of the hunting season unless wolves are killing, wounding, or biting a domestic animal on private property.
