The case against the pharmacist accused of ruining hundreds of doses of the coronavirus vaccine may be changing.
Steven Brandenburg left jail yesterday, and prosecutors walked-back some of the charges against him. First, the D.A. in Ozaukee County says the doses may not be spoiled. Aurora Health still has them, and the hospital is working to see if they are still viable. If they are, the felony destruction of property charge and the recklessly endangering safety charge that Brandenburg are facing would be dropped. We’re also getting a bit of a hint about a motive. Brandenburg’s ex-wife says he was focused on conspiracy theories, prosecutors say he thought the vaccine could hurt people.
