WI Coronavirus Cases Holding Steady

Wisconsin’s coronavirus measuring sticks have not hit any new milestones.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported just over 24- hundred new positives. The state’s seven-day positivity rate remains at 10-percent. DHS also reported just over a thousand people in the hospital with the virus. That’s lower than last month, but about where the state’s hospitalization numbers have been for the past week or so.

On the national stage,  the U.S. Surgeon General says it’s time for Americans to step up as the coronavirus surges.

Health officials predict thousands more deaths in the near future.  However, Dr. Jerome Adams tells CNN’s State of the Union what Americans do going forward matters.  Adams said he’s still optimistic even as the nation is going through the surge.  Adams noted the pace of coronavirus vaccinations is picking up.
