The Wisconsin Dells man accused of being a part of the plot to kidnap Michigan’s governor is getting a chance to appeal his extradition.
A judge yesterday ordered that Brian Higgins be sent to Michigan to face charges. Investigators say he helped the militia group that wanted to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. But before Higgins will be sent back, the judge said he will stay in Wisconsin until his appeal in the case is complete.
