There are some battles that only the bravest can take on head on. For this weeks’ Friday Feel Good story we meet a Veteran who is used to the fight and at over 100 years old just beat illness during a pandemic.
He is a World War Two vet, who lives in Alabama, named Major Wooten. And he recently beat COVID-19 just in time to celebrate his 104th birthday.
His granddaughter talked to the local news last week after his doctors and nurses sang “Happy Birthday” as he left the hospital in his wheelchair and there were many tears shed as this Veteran won his most recent battle.
