The teenager charged with killing two people during a protest this summer over the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin is due back in court today.
Kyle Rittenhouse is scheduled to appear for a pretrial hearing. The 17-year-old is accused of shooting and killing two people and wounding a third during civil unrest in Kenosha in August. He is facing six criminal counts including first degree reckless homicide. A defense attorney for Rittenhouse filed a motion this week to dismiss two of the charges against him. His attorneys argue he was acting in self-defense.
Rittenhouse was released from custody after posting two-million-dollars bail.
