Eau Claire Police are not saying just what started the Thanksgiving Day fight that sent a man to the hospital with a stab wound to his chest, but we now know who was involved in the incident.
Officers say 51-year-old Kelly Weiberg, the man accused of the stabbing, was drunk when it happened. Police say Weiberg told them the other guy punched him in the face, then he grabbed a knife. But Weiberg says he doesn’t remember what happened after that. Weiberg is facing aggravated battery and second degree recklessly endangering safety charges.
