Election Day is tomorrow but almost half of the people in Wisconsin have already voted.
The time between now and election day can be counted in hours instead of days. NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss says it’s a referendum on President Trump’s leadership.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission said as of yesterday morning that more than one-point-eight million people voted early or absentee. There are a little over three-point-six million registered voters in the state. Yesterday was the last day to vote early in Wisconsin. There are still thousands of absentee ballots that have not yet been returned.
The Elections Commission says those ballots need to be dropped-off in-person before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
When it comes to political attention, we will be getting more. President Trump is going to spend part of the last day before Election Day in Wisconsin. The President will rally a crowd at Kenosha’s airport this evening amidst a day of stops in key states.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is on the trail as well, due to visit Cleveland before blitzing Pennsylvania on this election eve.
