President Trump brings his 2020 Campaign rally to Waukesha.
Thousands of supporters showed up at the outdoor event at Stein Aircraft Services to listen to the President speak. The rally is a follow up to a similar campaign event last Saturday in Janesville. Trump will also speak in the La Crosse area at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem this coming Tuesday afternoon.
The political attention will continue. Donald Trump Junior is set to campaign for his father’s re-election in Wisconsin this week. Trump Junior will speak at an event in De Pere outside of Green Bay this Tuesday. The De Pere event starts at 4:00-p.m. at the home office of Amerilux International, a construction materials manufacturer.
On the other side of the ticket, Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden criticizes President Trump for holding a rally in Wisconsin in the midst of a COVID-19 spike. The former Vice President issued a statement yesterday ahead of Trump’s Saturday afternoon campaign rally in Waukesha stopping just short of attributing the spread of the disease to the President.
Biden did say, “Wisconsin is rapidly approaching two-hundred thousand COVID-19 cases with no signs of slowing down.” He accused the President of continuously playing down the risk of the disease while knowing all the while just how dangerous the virus really is. Biden said if elected, “On day one, I’ll take action to tackle this crisis.”
