Chippewa Valley COVID-19 hospitalizations are up 52-percent in the last week.
Eau Claire City-County Health Director Lieske Giese says the rise in hospitalizations and deaths is a bad sign that Northern Wisconsinites aren’t doing their part to slow the spread. Over 100 people in Eau Claire County have been hospitalized for COVID-19.
State health officials say people should avoid gatherings with anyone outside of their household.
