A Madison filmmaker is getting recognized by Universal Studios for his documentary about restoring the iconic Back to the Future DeLorean.
Steve Concotelli created “OUTATIME: Saving the DeLorean Time Machine,” about every step of bringing the 1985 original movie prop back to life. At one point, the guys working on the car had to put a call out to fans to return irreplaceable parts they had taken as souvenirs. The restored DeLorean is now shown at the Petersen Automobile Museum in Los Angeles.
