Eau Claire County’s health director says she is not going to tell UW-Eau Claire it has to close its doors because of rising coronavirus numbers.
City-County Health Director Lieske Giese yesterday said the university will have to decide how to handle the virus on its own. Since August, 203 of UW-Eau Claire’s 10 thousand students have tested positive for the virus. Eighty nine students are currently being quarantined because of the virus.
