You can ignore the texts, calls, and postcards you may be getting about re-registering to vote before November.
The Wisconsin Election Commission this week said those reminders are not coming from them. Meagan Wolfe with the commission said third party groups are calling and texting voters, telling them they need to re-register or that they’ve been left off the voter rolls. Wolfe says that’s usually not true. Wolfe says what the groups are doing is not illegal, but she says plenty of voters across the state are not happy about it.
