From politics to public health, Wisconsin remains active.
And now, after nearly seven months of dealing with the coronavirus, there is a growing sense of frustration with Eau Claire County’s lockdown orders. About 100 people rallied outside the City-County Health Department to show their displeasure with a new ordinance that gives Eau Claire’s health officers the power to do ‘what is reasonable and necessary’ to suppress the coronavirus.
There are no definitions as to what that means. Local business owners said they have supported past safety orders, but worries this new power will close business, and hurt families.
