The University of Wisconsin Madison’s student government wants learning to be online from home.
News Three Now reported yesterday that the Associated Students of Madison group is calling on school officials not to open up campus for classroom instruction due to COVID-19 concerns. The students want all classes to revert to online instruction only. They want dorms to have a reduced population and mandatory COVID-19 tests for everyone prior to attending events. ASM spokesperson Katie McGlasson says students weren’t consulted before UW Madison came up with its COVID-19 preventive strategies yet the college plans to penalize students for any and every possible thing that could go wrong.
