If you’re placing political signage in your yard or in front of your business, you may want to pay attention to where you’re putting it.
A Wisconsin statute prohibits signs of any kind on sidewalks or within street rights of way. The Chippewa Falls Police Department says they’ve seen an increase in signs placed where they shouldn’t be, and they’re subject to removal without notice. If a sign you placed was removed, police say you can pick it up at the police department for three-days before its discarded.
