Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur says the decision to cancel practice came after hearing players talk during a morning meeting.
The players didn’t say they didn’t want to practice, but the meeting addressed racial injustices and LaFluer felt canceling practice was the right thing to do. Several other teams including the Jets, the Titans, Bears and Cardinals also canceled practices in solidarity with the protests for racial justice.

Yesterday, the NBA started a ripple effect when players boycotted their playoff games in Orlando. Players from the WNBA, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer also followed. Today, officials from the NBA are meeting to discuss the boycott.
