A recent Chippewa Falls High School graduate is interning with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
If you happen to be paging through the Chippewa Herald, then you likely saw that 18-year-old Mitchell Haglund is a junior engineering student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He’s interning as a pathways engineer with NASA through a program out of the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. Haglund told the Herald his responsibilities include working on the Roman solar system telescope satellite antenna that transmits data back to earth.
