The beer will still have the taste we love, but it won’t look the same. Leinenkugel will stop using the image of a Native American woman that’s long been associated with the brewery.
The company has spent the last couple of months working on updating the brand and decided to retire the image, Dick Leinenkugel told USA Today. They said the changes will continue through 2021, and will continue to pay tribute to the brewery’s home in Chippewa Falls, but “in a different, re imagined way.”
The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company was founded in 1867 and acquired by Miller Brewing Company in 1988.
