Eau Claire Republicans are celebrating 100-years of women’s suffrage.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote. The Republican Party of Eau Claire hosted an event at Florian Gardens yesterday where they met with former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. The former state official spoke about key moments in the fight for the 19th amendment, and about the women that led it.
