There is a new class for incoming students at UW-Eau Claire.
The university yesterday announced an equity, diversity, and inclusion training program. Director Jodi Thessing-Ritter says the idea is to get students “engaged” so they can be a part of UW-EC’s inclusive campus. The class is a 50 minute online training that includes quizzes and videos. New and incoming students are required to take the class, but won’t get any credits for completing it.
