MORE CHARGES ANNOUNCED

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is charging all four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the George Floyd case.

Former police officers Tou Thao , Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane are charged with felony aiding and abetting second-degree murder. Ellison is also upgrading the charge against Derek Chauvin to second-murder two instead of third-degree murder.

To prove that charge prosecutors will have to show that Chauvin intended for Floyd to die.

The world is watching, and joining in protests.

Demonstrations are taking place around the world over the death of George Floyd.

Star Wars actor John Boyega participated in a Black Lives Matter march in London.  He said it’s vital that the demonstrations be peaceful because “they” want us to mess up.  Protests are also underway in France, which has had its own case of a black person dying in police custody.  Protests are taking place in many U.S. cities today, including Philadelphia, where the mayor has removed a controversial statue of a former mayor who once told people to “vote white.”
