CHIPPEWA GOES BLUE

CHIPPEWA GOES BLUE

Community organizations in Chippewa Falls are asking residents to light up the city blue tonight to show support for essential workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, 700-blue lightbulbs were anonymously donated to the Community Foundation, and residents are being asked to pick up one-light per household or business to light up the city at 7 p.m.  Blue light bulbs can be picked up at Jacobson’s Ace Hardware on Colombia Street, Sokup’s Market on Bridge Street, and at Northwestern Bank Drive-up locations in downtown Chippewa Falls.

Organizers are also encouraging other blue displays like ribbon and sidewalk chalk.
