A UTV accident turns deadly and those victims have been identified as a father and daughter.
It was on Sunday when the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an occupied UTV that was witnessed going through the ice.
EMS and Dive Team later located 2 persons in the enclosed UTV submerged on the river bottom. 74 year old John Custer and his daughter, 39 year old Jennifer Custer, both from Holcombe were transported to Mayo Eau Claire and later pronounced deceased.
